At BWT, our mission has always been centered on water, health and sustainability. Through the AQUA PEARLS Foundation, we transform this mission into meaningful action. The foundation supports projects that provide access to clean water, improve living conditions and help preserve the environment for future generations.

How BWT Creates Impact Through CSR

CSR becomes meaningful when it creates real and lasting impact. Thus, it forms the heartbeat of our brand philosophy, driving us to protect the planet and empower communities in need. By establishing the AQUA PEARLS Foundation, we focus our effort on multiple major pillars to bring impactful change:

• Clean Water Access: Access to safe water is a fundamental human right.

  Through our b.waterMISSION initiative, BWT builds sustainable water wells in African communities, including Kenya, Tanzania and The Gambia to make clean drinking water more affordable and easier to access. These water points do not just quench thirst; they reduce waterborne diseases, keep children in school, and transform local economies.

• Ecosystem Restoration: A healthy active lifestyle requires a thriving planet.

  Collaborating with The Zeitz Foundation Co-op and The Beach Co-op, we actively invest in reforestation projects and marine ecosystem restoration. From tree-planting campaigns to coastal cleanups, we work to protect biodiversity and natural habitats. Our partnership with The Green School Bali in Indonesia also promotes sustainability education for young changemakers, empowering them to create lasting global impact.

• Community Infrastructure: Sustainable development requires strong local foundations.

  BWT supports local populations across the world by funding and constructing essential community infrastructure, including schools, community centers, and safe housing: Such as the Aasraa Trust – a safe shelter for disadvantaged and vulnerable youngsters in Dehradun, the Jhamtse Gatsal Children's Community which currently cares for nearly 100 children across India, and a long-term partnership with the Society for Community Organisation to support poverty in Hong Kong.

• Global Healthcare Initiatives: Physical wellbeing is central to everything we do.

  We fund free healthcare services and medical outreach programs for underserved populations in regions like Tanzania and Dehradun, providing critical medical treatments and health education where it is needed most. Partnership with the Medical Board of Morogoro is a notable project under this pillar. The organisation oversees the public healthcare within the city, and has established 37 pharmacies, 2 dispensaries and 5 health centers, serving approximately 30,000 patients every year.
